This past week saw the public unveiling of a new documentary film about the P.E.A.C.E park, located in the Coventry neighborhood of Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Directed by Kara White, Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Park: A New Beginning was created through the Building Heights educational program, designed to educate high school kids in the vocation and arts of filmmaking. Under the guidance of instructors like Kara and Adam, students performed camera operations, music composition, editing, interviews, and more for the film. The film will have screenings in the park later this year, with the possibility of airing on local PBS..

Building Heights develops and teaches hands-on learning experiences through the art of film. Our programs create opportunities for students to explore their individual and collective creativity, learn foundational skills in all aspects of the film industry, while nurturing their imagination, confidence and maturity.
