Filmmaker Kara White's documentary film Witness to Revolution won an Emmy award for Best Historical Documentary. The one-hour film originally aired on Ball State PBS this past year. You can catch it now on PBS stations nationwide and Amazon Prime.
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences held its awards banquet this year in Indianapolis, Indiana, recognizing excellence in television annually.
As writer/director/researcher and editor, Kara White created the film for the Shields family and a national broadcast audience. Over the past decade, she has written, produced, and directed many films for Hemlock Films, winning awards along the way.
