Director/Cinematographer

                                                     Adam White


Adam is an award-winning filmmaker, specializing in documentary and museum exhibit films. He has won multiple Emmys for his films Space Chase USA, The Restorers, Red Tail Reborn, and The Restorers (TV series). Adam also received an Emmy for Best Cinematography  on the PBS film Generations: Cuyahoga Valley National Park. In 2011, Adam and his company Hemlock Films received the “Special Achievement” award from the International Council of Airshows for their film Rise Above: Tuskegee Airmen.

Adam graduated in 1995 with a degree in Motion Picture Production from Wright State University's prestigious film program. Adam has worked on big budget Hollywood films, TV shows, award winning documentaries, and commercials as a camera operator, with a specialty in SteadiCam, Adam is also a licensed pilot and makes a mean bowl of chili.

Kara has directed and produced multiple documentaries, including Rise Above: WASP about the Women Airforce Service Pilots from WWII, and Beyond the Powder for PBS telling the story of the first women's cross-country air race and the women who still race today. She has received Emmy nominations for Best Director, Writing, and Research and has won Emmy awards for Writing, Best Documentary, and Technical Achievement, along with multiple film festival awards for Directing, Writing, and Editing. She has also produced the Emmy Award winning documentaries The Restorers (TV series) and Space Chase USA for PBS, and Rise Above: Tuskegee Airmen. She also works as a commercial director.

 

Kara started her career in New York City, working as a Producer creating spots for Food Network, USA, and Touchstone Energy. Her experience as an Assistant Editor includes work with Comedy Central, HBO, A&E, E!, NBC, Bravo, ESPN, PBS Thirteen, and TBS.

Tupolev keeps us in check at the office and isn't afraid to join you at the bar for an after 5 o'clock cocktail. Of course, she's always available for therapy snuggling throughout business hours.
