Adam graduated in 1995 with a degree in Motion Picture Production from Wright State University's prestigious film program. He has won multiple Emmys for his films The Restorers and Red Tail Reborn and Adam won an Emmy for Best Cinematography for his work on the PBS film Generations: Cuyahoga Valley National Park. In 2011, Adam and his company Hemlock Films received the “Special Achievement” award from the International Council of Airshows for their film Rise Above.
With over 20 years of experience, Adam has worked on big budget Hollywood films, TV shows, award winning documentaries, and commercials in various roles. He now concentrates his time as a Producer/Director/Cinematographer with a specialty in SteadiCam. Adam is a licensed pilot and makes a mean bowl of chili.
Kara has produced the Emmy Award winning aviation documentary titled The Restorers – They Were All Volunteers, a documentary for the Texas Flying Legends, and the historical aviation film, Rise Above, for the Red Tail Squadron’s traveling exhibit.
She has returned to Cleveland from New York City, where she had worked as a Producer creating spots for Food Network, USA, and Touchstone Energy. Her experience also includes various production work with Comedy Central, HBO, A&E, E!, NBC, Bravo, ESPN, PBS Thirteen, and TBS.
Kara recently made her directing debut with the national PBS documentary Beyond The Powder, nominated for three Emmy nominations including Best Director. She is now directing the film Rise Above: WASP, the historical account of the Women Airforce Service Pilots of WWII.
