Women War Flyer Film Starts Production

Hemlock Films has begun filming for their new movie Rise Above: WASP. The film is being produced by the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) as a component to their new educational program highlighting the WASP (Women Airforce Service Pilots) of WWII.

While the film will contain historic reenactments and exciting aerial cinematography, a project like this always begins with the souce. So, Hemlock has begun the task of traveling natonwide to interview the WASP. While there were 1102 women who served as WASP in WWII, less than a quarter of that number remain.
